Buying a whole or half beef can be overwhelming. We take out all the guesswork for you. Our very own staff butcher works with our USDA processor to cut and pack your order. What is delivered to your door is the very best that each animal has to offer - from nose to tail!
What you get (500 lbs of product): With the purchase of this package, you can expect the following approximate breakdown:
80 steaks (an assortment of rib-eye, filet mignon, New York, top sirloin, flank, skirt and may include others like picanha, hangar, flap, petite shoulder filet, flat iron etc.)
250 lbs of ground beef
beef tallow (at special bulk beef pricing), liver, heart, oxtail, kidneys, spleen, and tongue are available. (You can give us a call when ordering to speak directly with us todiscuss what parts of the animal we can get you!)
With this USDA-inspected and finely butchered product, all the work is already done for you. You receive the beef delivered to your door. Our packaging is all vacuum sealed with clear plastic, and fully labeled so you know exactly what you're pulling out of the freezer to thaw!
Storage: You will need close to 16 cubic feet of freezer space for a half beef. For reference, a normal kitchen freezer is about 5-6 cubic feet (less if you have an ice maker). We recommend getting a deep freezer that does not automatically defrost, as this feature can shorten the overall shelf-life of the beef.
How to pay: your order here online is the deposit for your half beef. The remaining balance of $3000 will be due upon delivery.
When do I get my beef? Delivery usually takes about a week from the time of deposit, but sometimes can take longer, up to a month and a half. The longer lead times are dependent on when the animals are ready for butchering. We will be in touch with an estimated date of delivery.
